May Focus Overview in Royal Bliss Circle🌿; Work With May, Not Against It

May is asking for honesty, grounding, and sustainable self-leadership.

We are still moving through Kapha season, which can bring heaviness, emotional buildup, fatigue, or stagnation. Instead of forcing our way through it, we work gently with the season by creating rhythms that help energy move again.

This month is also preparing us for Pitta season in June. That means May is not about pushing harder. It is about strengthening the routines, boundaries, and nervous system support that will help you lead with greater clarity later.

Our theme this month, Honoring the Self, invites us to notice where we’ve been overriding our needs and where steadier care is needed instead of more pressure.

The first, Spring Emotional Reset, focuses on emotional clarity, nervous system support, and releasing the heaviness that can accumulate mentally and emotionally during Kapha season.

The second, Devotion in Practice, focuses on what comes next: creating rhythms, routines, and supportive structures that are sustainable in real life.

Together, these workshops are designed to help you move from emotional overwhelm into greater clarity, steadiness, and self-support without relying on burnout, pressure, or constant overextension.

Have you ever noticed how sometimes your body feels tired, your mind feels crowded, or your patience feels thin… even when you technically “got everything done”? 💚

Ayurveda teaches that the mind and body are constantly processing stimulation through work, stress, conversations, emotions, pressure, environments, and daily responsibilities.

Without moments of reflection, the nervous system keeps carrying what has not been processed.

This is why reflection matters in Ayurveda.

Not as a trend.
Not as perfection.
But as a way to create awareness before imbalance becomes burnout. 🌿

To the beautiful community of Poised For Bliss
Today is a day to honor the depth, devotion, and emotional labor carried by so many women in seen and unseen ways. Motherhood is not only expressed through raising children. It is also expressed through nurturing others, holding families together, mentoring, caregiving, protecting, teaching, supporting, comforting, rebuilding, and continuing to show up with love even during seasons of exhaustion, grief, uncertainty, or transition.

This day can bring joy, gratitude, celebration, reflection, longing, or sadness depending on where you are in your own story. For some, it is a beautiful day filled with family and connection. For others, it may carry the weight of loss, complicated memories, distance, or the ache of what has not yet come to be. Every experience deserves tenderness.

As many of you know, this month carries deep meaning for me personally as we move through the one-year remembrance of my mother’s passing. She was an educator, mentor, leader, and a woman who gave so much of herself to others throughout her life. The May workshops inside our community this year were created in her honor and in honor of the women who continue learning how to care for themselves with the same devotion they so freely offer everyone else.

My hope for you today is not perfection, performance, or pressure to make the day look a certain way. I hope you allow yourself moments of genuine nourishment. I hope you rest where you need rest, laugh where joy finds you, and receive love without feeling the need to earn it first. I hope you remember that your value has never been measured solely by productivity, sacrifice, or how much you can carry before you break.

Thank you for being part of this community and for allowing Poised For Bliss to be a space where rhythm, restoration, leadership, healing, and real life are all allowed to exist together.
