Lupus Information: Lupus is a chronic autoimmune disease where your immune system mistakenly attacks healthy tissues and organs. It causes widespread inflammation that can damage the skin, joints, kidneys, lungs, heart, and brain.

While the exact cause is unknown, you don’t “catch” lupus like a virus or infection. Instead, doctors believe it develops from a complex combination of three main factors:Genetics: Passing down certain genes increases your risk of developing the disease, especially if you have close family members with autoimmune conditions.

Hormones: Lupus is much more common in women between the ages of 15 and 44, suggesting that hormones like estrogen play a major role.

Environmental Triggers: Exposure to certain elements in your surroundings—such as viral infections, prolonged sunlight (UV) exposure, smoking, or taking certain medications—can trigger the disease in people who are already genetically predisposed. A traumatic experienced can trigger chronic illness symptoms.

Lets see how long I can take a nap for. It probably wont happen because my constant chronic pain radiates through my body. It doesn’t allow me to sleep for long of any. The only tome I sleep is when I am extremely exhausted and my body knock out from exhaustion or the extreme pain. 9 days is my limit. 💜🦋🙏🏼

Lupus Suxks!!! I am Not feeling well. My monthly Infusion was yesterday, but it wore me out. Lets see how tomorrow goes.
My apologies for all the posts. This happens when I’m in bed all day frustrated and in pain.
