Building SLO Psychological Services has been deeply meaningful work — supporting children, teens, and families as they better understand themselves and navigate challenges with more confidence and compassion.

100 YEARS YOUNG!

Happiest of birthdays to my greatest role model. My beloved Babushka ❤️🙌🏼

You raised me with hands and a heart that had already endured more than most lifetimes should hold, and somehow gave more love than anyone I know. As a teenager, you survived the Holocaust with unimaginable courage, even chewing up your own birth certificate to stay alive - defiant and determined - my warrior Baba!

You taught me what it means to be a lady, a caregiver, a matriarch, and a warrior.

Everything I am carries something of you in it: your strength, your hope, your quiet heroism.

To honor your legacy, I’ve (finally!) translated one of your books into English, so your story and wisdom can live on for generations to come. Your great-grandchildren and beyond will know your story and we will never forget. It will be available on Amazon in the next few days.

We owe you our lives and so much more.
