SISTERcircle invites you to join AfroFuture PenPals 🌍
A 4-week program for Black parents in the U.S. and Ghana to connect and share stories, voice notes, videos, and hopes for our children.

AfroFuture Parent PenPals reduces fear and disillusionment by replacing distance and myth with relationship, creativity, and shared future-building—one family at a time.

Results:
• Builds trust and emotional safety between African-American and Ghanaian parents through real relationships
• Reduces fear by showing everyday life in Ghana, not tourism or media stereotypes
• Centers shared parenting as common ground, allowing honest questions and concerns
• Uses Afrofuturist imagination and collective art to heal disconnection and inspire hope
• Increases openness and confidence to travel to Ghana by creating familiarity before travel

Parents send short messages each week. We dream about a better future for Black families and children. We share life, culture, hope and ideas. It is friendly, easy, and only a few minutes.
