A Swimsuit Guide for Every Body Type
Small Chest: Choose padded tops with embellishments or ruffles to give a larger illusion.
Big Chest: Look for larger cup sizes, underwire, and thicker straps for the most flattering result.
Broad Shoulders: Choose asymmetrical necklines and suits with side panels to create the look of an hourglass figure.
Flat B***y: Frills, ruching, bright colors, loud prints, and Butt’r Up’s bottoms can distract from a pancake profile.
Big Butt: Ample backsides should opt for designs with solid bottoms and printed tops to help balance the bod.
Athletic Body: To give the illusion of more curves, choose tops with padded cups, ruching, girly prints, and bright colors. Avoid straight-across bandeaus, boy shorts, and shapeless one pieces.
Love Handles: High-waisted bottoms that extend above the belly button are the perfect choice.
Short Torso: To elongate [ooh, joke time: what do you call Elon Musk involved in a scandal? Yes, elongate.] a short torso, choose low-rise bottoms, making the torso look longer and bringing the attention upward.
Back Fat: Choose one-piece designs with thick straps and high backs (Butt’r Up’s one-piece corset style is a perfect choice).
Short Legs: High-cut legs show more skin, making the leg appear longer. Choose a thong for optimal lengthening potential.
Full Thighs: Choose bottoms with a little more coverage, like a skirt, to help conceal the upper leg.
Tummy Pooch: Opt for a one piece with ruching and a plunging neckline to keep the focus upward and not on the midsection. Peplum styles that flare also work well.
Big Hips, Skinny Legs: Choose a suit that gives the illusion of an elongated clavicle such as off-the-shoulder and bandeaus.
Pregnant: Tankinis are best since they provide a lot of wiggle room, sun protection, and easy access.
Cellulite: As we all know, cellulite doesn’t discriminate. Swim dresses, swim skirts, tankinis, and Butt’r Up bottoms work well to conceal the cell.
Scars: Find a suit with a unique cut, interesting shape, or mesh insets.
Burns Easily: The rash guard isn’t just for surfers—they come in a variety of fun and eye-catching prints.
