Here’s part of their story from Savannah, Zach’s wife:

“At first glance, Zach and Howard seemed to have little in common. My husband Zach was just 33, while Howard was 70. But cancer has a way of bringing people together in unexpected ways, and that 40-year age gap didn’t stop a deep friendship from forming.

Zach had been diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer. Howard was facing stage 4 bladder cancer that had spread to his lungs, liver, and bones. Both arrived at Hope4Cancer in 2023 carrying fear, uncertainty, and hope for healing. Cathy (Howard’s wife) and I stood faithfully beside them every step of the way.

Each day at the clinic, Zach and Howard walked through treatment together in a place that gave them something they both desperately needed: hope. Through integrative therapies, compassionate care, and a focus on treating the whole person (body, mind, and spirit), they began to feel strengthened physically and emotionally. They shared meals, prayed together, and encouraged one another through the hard days.

What began as two strangers walking through cancer became a friendship rooted in faith, hope, and determination. We even discovered we all lived only two hours apart back home! Their friendship didn’t end after treatment, and they still cheer each other on in life and health.

Today, both Zach and Howard are NED, No Evidence of Disease.

But their healing journey didn’t stop there. Together, they continue pursuing lives where cancer cannot survive: drinking green juice daily, prioritizing movement, lowering stress, focusing on forgiveness, and embracing joy every single day.

Their story is a reminder that healing is more than medicine, friendship knows no age, and hope can change everything.”

“Over 6 years ago, my world was turned upside down with a thyroid cancer diagnosis. In that moment, I faced my darkest fears, not knowing what the future held. But I made a powerful commitment to myself: that I will heal and I will live a long, beautiful life.

That decision set me on a journey that changed every part of my life and led me through intense highs and lows — 5 surgeries, unimaginable losses, and incredible breakthroughs.

Just like many, when I first got my diagnosis in 2019, I was presented with the standard options: surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy. But I knew in my heart there had to be more than just treating the symptoms. I wanted to understand why the cancer was there in the first place and how I could truly support my body in healing from the root.

That journey led me to explore integrative healing and finding my forever healing home, , where my life completely transformed — physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

During my time there, I got access to tools like hyperbaric oxygen therapy, red light therapy, coffee enemas, IV therapies, and many other non-toxic therapies. I focused on nutrition, detoxification, emotional healing, building up my immune system, and so much more to help my body heal and thrive.
