Think Tom's new favorite exercise are these kettlebell snatches and tire flips! We are always pretty good about working on strength training, but thought I'd add in more dynamic and explosive movements to his workouts this week.
Why???
Motor neuron and fast-twitch muscle recruitment, that's why!! It is imperative to be able to activate the fibers quickly in order to develop true functional strength, not just to lift weights, but for everything we do on a day-to-day basis! You never know when you're going to have to hoist some heavy object up that requires a lil something extra! Great job Tom!
