Meals aren’t just nourishing — they’re medicine. 🌿

Ayurveda has held the blueprint for postpartum recovery for thousands of years, and at the heart of it is food as ritual.

Every ingredient is chosen with intention — to rebuild what birth asked of your body, rekindle your digestive fire, and support the milk that flows for your baby.

Some of my most-loved herbs for the sacred window:

🌸 Shatavari — the great nourisher. Deeply supportive of lactation and hormonal balance postpartum.

🌾 Ashwagandha — for the exhausted nervous system. Strength without stimulation.

🌱Fenugreek — a time-honored galactagogue that helps milk come in full and steady.

🧈Ghee — yes, ghee is medicine. It lubricates tissues, supports healing, and carries herbs deeper into the body.

🌿 Fennel & cumin — warming, digestive, and gently milk-supporting.

The base of so many postpartum dals and kitchari.
This is the care your body has always deserved. Slow. Warm. Intentional.

If you’re pregnant or newly postpartum in the Bay Area — this is what I do. And I’d love to support you. 🤍

If you’re like me and starting to think about getting pregnant, this really helped me 🤍

When I got my blood work done, I realized just how low my iron levels were—no wonder I was exhausted all the time. I had completely normalized that fatigue.

A year later, after actually supporting my body, I don’t live in that same exhaustion anymore.

Getting to know your body before pregnancy is one of the most empowering things you can do—and tools like makes it easier than ever.

In Ayurveda, postpartum is a season of rebuilding. Your digestion is tender, your tissues are depleted, and your nervous system is recalibrating. The food you eat in these early weeks isn’t just fuel — it’s medicine.

These muffins are built around that principle:

🧈 Ghee — the cornerstone of postpartum nourishment. Deeply lubricating, agni-kindling, and grounding for vata.

🍌 Ripe banana — naturally sweet, easy to digest, rich in potassium.

🌿 Cardamom, cinnamon, ginger — warming spices that support digestion and keep blood sugar steady.

🌾 Cassava flour — light, easy to digest, and a wonderful grain-free base that’s gentle on a postpartum gut.

One bowl. 22 minutes. Six muffins.

Make a batch. Freeze half. And the next time someone asks how they can help — tell them to bring ghee. 🫶

Because the baby eats what you eat. 🌿

Your diet shapes your breast milk — and these time-tested Ayurvedic herbs can help soothe tummy irritation and ease colic in your little one, naturally.

Here’s what to add to your plate (and cup! ☕):

🌱 Fennel Seeds — Help reduce gas and bloating, making digestion smoother for both you and baby.

🌾 Cumin Seeds — A powerful digestive aid that calms cramping and settles an upset tummy.

✨ Ghee — Gentle on the gut, ghee lubricates digestion and helps nutrients absorb better — liquid gold for new mamas.

🌿 Peppermint Tea — Relaxes digestive muscles and eases that uncomfortable trapped-gas feeling.

🌼 Chamomile Tea — Nature’s calmest herb — soothes inflammation, relieves spasms, and helps baby (and mama!) relax.

Nourish yourself, nourish them. 🤱✨

Save this for your next grocery run & share with a new mama who needs it!
