It’s Somatic Saturday. Somatic refers to your body. Your physical being. What are you holding in your muscles, tissues, and fat? In your bones, ligaments, and tendons? When was the last time you checked in to ask what’s there? Come move with me. Tune into your body. Listen to how it wants to move. To what it wants to move. Meditation Monday! Meditation is a process of releasing and witnessing what is in your body. Allow what wants to come out however it arises during meditation- as tears, as sighs, as deep breaths, or even movement. Relax into the process and just observe without controlling or fixing.

It’s Meditation Monday! We meditate where we can, and sometimes it’s on the go. Carving time for meditation and self-care can be the difference between burnout and increased capacity for the people and activity of your life. Flow where you can and adapt when situations change. If that’s difficult to do, sometimes there are blocks emotionally and physically that we can explore. I do this work with people. Spring is here! How can you help your body and mind transition to the new season? Let’s try listening to what Mother Nature is suggesting. Hibernation is over and it’s time to get up and move your body! Eat lighter, warm and nourishing food. Cleanse and hydrate with some warm water and electrolytes- lemon, salt. Use that renewed energy to start new projects or try something new!

It’s Meditation Monday! Sink into your body today and notice any interruption to your body’s flow. Where is there tightness, tension, slowness or speed? Get curious about what is happening there mentally and physically and give it some attention or send your breath there. Naturally follow your flow.
