While studying journalism, Shalini began to research topics that were meaningful to her life, specifically female empowerment, childbirth, and the current state of birthing in the U.S. As she traveled to other countries, she saw a disparity in attitudes towards birthing, and found a pla

ce for her passion as a doula. Shalini actively supports women during their pregnancy by listening carefully and responding to their needs throughout the pregnancy process so they are able to have the birth experience of their choice. She believes that women have an inner knowledge, strength and intuitive power to birth their babies. Shalini hopes to assist them in finding this power and knowledge to help create a positive and empowering birth experience for all involved. Services:
