A compelling and informative PBS documentary, which chronicles the evolution of stroke from a seemingly inevitable and untreatable situation to a highly preventable and curable condition. Kudos to the patients, providers, researchers, funders, and policy makers who made this possible.

Documentary will be shown on local stations nationwide in Fall.

As we reflect on how far we have come, we recognize that there is more work to be done, including (most importantly) preventing strokes from happening in the first place, and assuring that if/when they do occur, *everyone, everywhere* has timely access to these life enhancing treatments.
