Congratulations to Don Van on completing a six-week summer internship at Santa Clara Family Health Plan (SCFHP) South County Community Resource Center (CRC)!

A recent Santa Clara University Public Health School graduate, Don helped with community events, data review, and activities throughout his internship. He also surveyed local youth to learn what resources they would find helpful. Local youth shared interest in school and career support, wellness activities, useful skills workshops, and opportunities to connect with others.

Don’s internship was made possible through SCFHP’s partnership with Health Career Connection (HCC), now in its fifth year. The aim is to give students and recent graduates opportunities to gain hands-on experience.

Thank you, Don, for your contributions this summer.
