A Berry Sweet Birth Full Spectrum Birthworker, Here to support all birthing peoples pregnancy journey Hi, I am Katelyn. I am a Birthmom and now a parent to my own child.

I have always been passionate about childcare. I started my career as a nanny in 2007, I have been nannying for families full time since 2012. Recently, I have realized my dream is to help people in all stages of pregnancy and childbirth. As a nanny, and now parent myself, I know that support and care can make the world of difference in your pregnancy and parenting journey. I am currently training with Birthing Advocacy Doula trainings. I am working on a childbirth education certification as well as a Full spectrum doula. I have experience with families going through fertility struggles, unexpected pregnancies and of course planned ones. Helping other families succeed in parenting has been my passion for years, and I am excited to take this next step.

It’s been a minute since I introduced myself. And as I am seeing more followers (and bookings) I thought it would be a great time to reintroduce myself.

I’m Katelyn, Birthmom, mom, career nanny, and now birth and postpartum doula. I have dedicated my life to helping families transition into confident being parents. I have helped 7 families in my Nanny career, as I have focused on long term jobs. Now as I move into being a doula, I have supported 15 families through labor and deliver and postpartum. And 3 additional families with only postpartum care. I am Kaiser contracted, carrot fertility approved and medical approved. I am happy to creat receipts for reimbursement as well. I would love to work with your family on this adventure to becoming parents.

Planned cesarean ≠ easy trauma free. As a doula who attends high risk planned, and unplanned cesareans my number one job is recovery support. It is a major surgery that requires major support! Do not assume that a planned cesarean means you don’t need or couldn’t use a doula! I am already booked out through mid August, and currently booking out September to December!

We are in the full spring swing here in San Jose, Kaiser has updated their approved doula list, and doulas are booking out fast! If you are pregnant and wanting a doula for birth or postpartum, do not wait! Start interviews today! I am having To turn away 1-2 clients a day currently. As I am fully booked through the second week of August, and already have October Clients booked as well. I have availability in August, September and November December left for this year.
