Hormonal health is rarely ever fixed by addressing one thing. There are many things that need to be in balance. Here is a list of 5 categories to focus on.
1. We believe sleep hygiene and stress management are 2 of the most important things for hormonal health. At night your body heals and detoxes, but only if you’re getting adequate sleep. Stress management is also key. Because if you’re always living in fight flight your body doesn’t heal, it survives.
2. Food food food. What you put in your body is very important. You are what you eat, literally. The more processed fats, carbs, and proteins you consume, the more your body is forced to use these compounds to make your physical body, this can lead to more inflammatory compounds.
3. I say SMART movement because if you’re always stressed out, I wouldn’t advise you to go do HIIT, this is because you don’t want your body to make more cortisol and be more in fight flight. this breaks your body down further, but if you’re life has little stress then yes HIIT can be the healthy stress your body needs. It’s also important to work out in line with where you are in your cycle. Sometimes when you’re trying to lose weight, walking is the best place to start!

5. Lastly, supplements. As the word states, they should supplement your diet. Healthy food always comes first, unfortunately even a healthy diet can sometimes be lacking in key nutrients. Did you know studies show that food from today versus’ the 50’s has 50% less nutrition! This is because our soil is depleted. Sometimes our body needs some extra love and support.
