Floating Rock Studios Susan and Victoria work in studios in Brooklyn and Santa Fe carving alabaster pendants that represent spirit, s*x, and science.

We utilize unique and powerful fragments of a larger piece of stone to create designs that are completely individual, as they cannot be replicated. The business was an inspiration of Susan’s Christmas gifts to all the girls of the family. All pieces had personal intentions that come forth in the design of each pendant. The reasoning behind using alabaster is it has numerous benefits, as it aids fo

rgiveness, stimulates meditation, gives mental clarity, diminishes anger, and eases anxiety. We currently have a selection of pieces for sale, and are available for commission work.
