This is a family page for Trenton to get his story known and to raise awareness of the very difficult struggles living in ESRD (End stage renal disease). He was fixing to leave his home state for college and to start his future until October 21, 2023. That evening Trenton went for a walk like he did most days, but this day was different, this day he would not come home instead he was rushed to the
hospital after a careless driver ran him over and left him in the ditch for dead. Since that date Trenton has gained a very lengthy surgical history and numerous diagnoses. The hardest thing for a family to watch is someone with such a bright future starting out Christmas morning on a ventilator after he stopped breathing but that is how we spent our Christmas 2023. He has fought every step of the way and is now at home but is on many daily medications and dialysis three times a week. He had to learn to walk and talk all over and does not have use of his right eye or very good balance, but our biggest concern is we are working towards finding him a living donor for a new kidney so that he no longer has to spend 4 hours three days out of his week hooked up to a machine uncomfortable and scared. This page is being designed to help bring awareness and hopefully find a match for Trenton!
