Seven years today without my little sister. Grief is brutal. It snatches life as you know it away. You’re left to pick up the pieces and to rebuild a new life. You can embrace it or run from it, but it doesn’t go away. There are lessons to be learned in loss, lessons we never signed up for. This grief brought me to bodywork, nervous system work and a deeper compassion for others. It’s been a long process of self discovery, healing and questioning my purpose here. Grief is uncomfortable and we smile and say, “I’m ok” or “I’m doing fine”, when we aren’t. If you are struggling with grief, pain, etc know that you aren’t alone. Remember to take time for yourself daily and find your people. We all have to walk this planet together for our short time here, be compassionate to yourself and others. Love you ❤️
