California-based Behavior Analyst and Parent Behavior Consultant Jenny S. is facilitating a workshop for families interested in the basics of behavior intervention and home strategies. This is not limited to those receiving ABA or even with a diagnosis, but strategies for all children.

Registration is half-off for Manatee, Sarasota, and DeSoto families (now $25) thanks to our generous grants from the Manatee Community Foundation and Sarasota Community Foundation of Sarasota County.

I’m feeling incredibly grateful to have accepted the Proclamation from Board of County Commissioners for designating April 2024 Autism Awareness Month on behalf of all the remarkable individuals with autism, their family and caregivers, and the dedicated teachers, therapists, and professionals that deliver effective and ethical services with dignity and respect.

Thank you Chairman Mike Rahn Amanda Ballard, Kevin Van Ostenbridge, Ray Turner, George Kruse, and Jason Bearden.

Remember: Awareness is Acceptance, Compassion, Belonging, Access, and so much more.

Interested in joining a nonprofit board? We are currently looking for folks in Sarasota and Manatee County with a passion for children with special needs or unique circumstances that prevent them from accessing the education and extracurricular activities our community has to offer.

Our commitment to inclusivity starts with our board, and therefore we:
- Have a minimum time commitment (4 to 5 board meetings a year)
- Do not require any monetary donation or fundraising goals
- A broad range of volunteer opportunities, from fundraising events to working directly with clients, weekend or weekday, evenings, and daytime.
