The Regional CTE Millage renewal is on the May 5 ballot! This funding ensures equitable access to 13 high-demand career programs at Sault Area Career Center. With over 75% of our CTE staff being alumni, our students learn from experts who know our local workforce firsthand.

📢UPDATE: The other business has officially moved OUT of our new/permanent space, but the building needs *work before we can move in (ie: cleaning, painting, flooring, concrete work, etc). My best/current guess for a move in date would be July. We are bummed about the delay, but understand the wait for quotes and the work to be done right.👏

A routine package delivery in Pennsylvania suddenly turned into a life-threatening emergency.

Adonis Whitner had just dropped off packages when he collapsed outside a home.

No warning.

No time to react.

Homeowner Mark Macala rushed outside and immediately realized something was wrong. Around the same time, Devlin Robinson pulled into his driveway nearby and saw the situation unfolding.

They didn’t hesitate.

They checked for a pulse.

Started CPR.

And called for help.

Working together, they continued chest compressions, keeping blood flowing while waiting for emergency responders to arrive.

Minutes passed.

But they didn’t stop.

By the time paramedics reached the scene, those early actions had already made the difference.

Whitner was transported for medical care — and recovered.

What could have ended differently came down to timing.

Two people, in the right place.

Recognizing what needed to be done.

And acting before it was too late.

Because in moments like this, it’s not about titles or roles.

It’s about stepping in — and not stopping.
