A budding herbalist and crafter of organic plant-based healing and self-care products. One of my first memories is being in the garden with my grandfather in France during the summer of my 5th birthday. Despite the language barrier, he showed me how to tend to a garden: pick suckers off the tomato plants, look for slugs under lettuce leaves, and harvest radishes. It sparked my love of nature, grow
ing and tending to plants, and an overall infatuation with all the beauty and wonders of nature. My father was born into a ranching family in South Dakota. Raising cattle and crops was and is still their way of life. Inevitably, working the land is in my blood. Suburban Farm Girl was sprouted, literally, after setting up my very first little farm stand to sell produce in the front yard of my little suburban home. I hope you will find my page a fun place to visit to be inspired, enlightened, and enamored by Mother Nature.
