A few years ago, these dreams only existed on a vision board.
Today, I'm living many of them...and I almost missed it. 💜
For me, a vision board has never been about predicting the future. It's simply a reminder—a light on my path that helps keep me walking in the direction of my heart and my dreams.
Looking back at these three vision boards, I realized something I hadn't fully stopped to notice.
In 2024, there was a picture of a little guest house that didn't exist yet and the beginnings of an idea I thought might become a cookbook.
In 2025, I scribbled a simple note:
"Book published 2025."
The timing wasn't exactly what I wrote down. The publishing process began in the fall of 2025, and my memoir was published in January 2026. Life rarely follows my calendar, and I'm perfectly okay with that.
Today, I'm writing these words from that guest house, and the book that once lived on a vision board now rests quietly on the shelf behind me.
Then, this week, I received an email I'd honestly forgotten I was waiting for.
Crohnie kNOw More was selected for the Phoenix Public Library's 2026 Local Author Fair and Author Programming List.
I smiled—not because it felt like I'd arrived, but because it reminded me that the seeds we plant often continue growing while we're busy living our lives.
Today, I'm living in so many answered prayers.
Not because life is perfect.
Not because everything happened exactly as I imagined.
But because, looking back, I can finally see a thread I couldn't always see while I was living it.
Sometimes the greatest gift isn't simply that a dream comes true.
It's realizing how much you've grown while walking toward it.
Thank you to everyone who has encouraged me, believed in me, read my story, or simply walked beside me along the way.
Here's to continuing to listen, trust, and take the next faithful step.
