When you look at your life… do you think she’d be proud? 🤍

That little girl you used to be. Before you knew what life would ask of you. Before you understood how much strength you’d need.

We all come from different beginnings. Some gave us a foundation to build on. Others gave us cycles we knew we wanted to break.

At a young age, I knew I wanted a different life. I had witnessed behaviors I didn’t want to repeat, endured traumas I didn’t want defining my future, and felt pain I didn’t want to pass on.

I didn’t know exactly how to build that life. But I knew I wanted to fight like hell to make it happen.

Now, in midlife, I look at that little girl and wish I could tell her: “You’re going to have choices. You’re going to find your voice. And you’re going to be stronger than you can possibly imagine.”

If you feel ashamed of where you come from, embarrassed by parts of your story, or find yourself getting quiet when people talk about their childhood… you are not alone.

You don’t owe anyone your story to be proud of how far you’ve come.

One day, I’ll share more of mine. For now, I want you to know this: we have the power to change what happens next. Sometimes that begins with getting help, setting a boundary, or choosing differently than what we were taught.

And if you’re still working through it, that counts, too.

So yes, I think she’d be proud. Even with the mistakes. Even with the healing still ahead. Look at everything you’ve carried, and how hard you’re trying.

Keep going. That little girl is watching, and you’re giving her so many reasons to hold her head high. 🤍

What’s one thing you’ve done that would make your younger self proud? Big or small, I’d love to hear it.

Share this with a woman who needs to give herself more credit.

How many of us have a loved one who is living with—or has battled—a neurological disease? 💔🧠

Ladies, our future selves need more than a smaller waist. She needs strength, energy, and a mind that will take you into later years of life. 💪🧠

Reasons to move our bodies in midlife go so much deeper than what we see in the mirror.

Look at what the research tells us:

🧠 Physical activity was linked to approximately 20% lower dementia risk and 14% lower Alzheimer’s risk in a large research review. (pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov)

🤍 The equivalent of 150 minutes of brisk walking a week was associated with 25% lower depression risk compared with no activity. Starting small matters. (jamanetwork.com)

🏋️‍♀️ Lifting supports your mental health, too. A review of 33 clinical trials involving 1,877 people found that resistance training significantly reduced depressive symptoms. (jamanetwork.com)

⚡ A review of 81 studies involving 7,050 people found that regular exercise improved energy and vitality and reduced fatigue. Movement can help change how you FEEL. (pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov)

This is why I want us talking about strength and movement...our heartbeats can heal us❤️‍🩹

You don’t have to become a different person overnight. Take a walk. Try a few strength exercises. Find movement you enjoy enough to come back to!

You deserve to feel capable, strong, and supported in this chapter. And you are worth making time for. ❤️

How do you feel about these statistics? Tell me below, and share this with a woman who needs a reason to start.

“Age gracefully… but don’t actually look like you’re getting older.”

Ladies, how are we supposed to win when even aging comes with a comment section?

“She’s really let herself go.”
“She’s had too much work done.”
“She would look younger if she colored her hair.”
“Why can’t she just age naturally?”

Enough. We hear enough criticism without adding to it for one another.

Botox or no Botox. Filler or no filler. Surgery or no surgery. Color your hair or embrace your gray.

Having a choice in how we age is a gift. You don’t owe anyone an explanation for yours.

And another woman’s choice doesn’t need to match yours to deserve your respect.

Imagine how much lighter this stage of life could feel if we stopped bracing for judgment and started feeling supported. If a compliment stayed a compliment, without the “but…” attached.

That’s the community I want us to build here. ❤️

This Friday, let’s retire the backhanded comments. It’s a damn shame to spend these years picking each other apart when we could be cheering each other on.

What’s one comment about aging you wish women would stop making? Let’s talk about it. 👇

Share this if you’re ready to give other women the same freedom you want for yourself.

“Doubt me or bet against me. I dare you. I love it!” 🔥

Has anyone ever doubted what you’re capable of? More importantly, have YOU ever doubted yourself at this stage of life?

Maybe somewhere between taking care of everyone else and navigating all the changes of midlife, you stopped asking, “What else am I capable of?” "Where do I start!" "How do I get there!"

Ask again.

There is still a woman inside you who wants to feel strong, try something that scares her, and follow through on a promise she made to herself. Give her a chance. 💖

When I train, I’m building trust in myself. Every time I show up, especially when I don’t feel like it, I give myself another reason to believe: I CAN do hard things....and so can YOU love!

That belief follows me out of the gym and into my life and as I approach 50 next year, I've become laser focused on betting on myself!

I want that feeling for you, too. The pride. The confidence. The excitement of realizing you have more in you than you thought.

You’re allowed to want more in this chapter. And you’re worth the time and effort it takes to go after it.

If you’re watching this thinking, “I’ll have what she’s having,” there will always be a seat at my table for you. 🤍

Curious about how I train, what I eat, or how to begin? DM me “MIDLIFE.” Tell me what you want to feel capable of. Let’s start there.

Happy birthday to my best friend of 30+ years. 🤍

As we get older, real female friendships are truly hard to come by and even harder to last for many years. People grow, change, seasons change and life takes us in different directions and different paths. Having a solid foundation is more important than ever...and sometimes we meet them early on and sometimes later in life, and that's OK!

The sound says it perfectly: a friendship like ours takes work. It takes making the plans, booking the trip, showing up for each other, and choosing to stay close through every season of life....the good, the bad, and everything in between. Not always agreeing on everything but respecting each other enough to listen and grow from our differences, that's gold🙌🏼

And sometimes, it looks like two best friends singing their hearts out at a Celine Dion concert in Paris. 🥹🎤

I’m so grateful we keep making memories together. Here’s to you, to a truly beautiful friendship, and to saying yes to more moments like this. Happy birthday, I love you! 🥂

Tag the friend you’d book the trip with. ✈️

When was the last time you said YES to joy—without guilt? ✨

Book the trip. Wear the outfit. Buy the bag. Take the pictures. Laugh until your stomach hurts. Put your phone down and be fully present.

You’ve spent years showing up for everyone else. But midlife isn’t a waiting room—and your joy doesn’t need to be earned, justified, or postponed...things I am learning to embrace fully at almost 50!

Choose yourself boldly. Say yes unapologetically. Make the memories you keep talking about. This is your life, your season, and your time to enjoy it fully.

Tag the friend who belongs on your next adventure, then share the dream destination you’re ready to explore together. Where would you go if you booked the trip today? ✈️💛
