It’s so easy to get caught up in what was or what could be
I started my rabbit hole by looking up pictures from a road trip in 2022 that was truly life-changing for me
It was the year I lost my father
It was the same year that the person I had been with for 11 years also passed (a year after I had left)
It was also the year I met my sweet love, the person who has truly calmed my nervous system and helps hold space for me to take my time in healing old wounds.
It was a year that I learned about boundaries and had to cut ties with a toxic friendship.
It was a year where I learned, the true meaning of deep felt grief and a deeper self acceptance.
Looking back, only 4 years later, I started thinking about all of the amazing people that I meet on a regular basis and how each and every one of them are on their own journey
When we meet, when we connect, when we share a space in nature to breathe and stretch and simply be, there’s something that shifts not just for them, but also for me.
This group of ladies in the picture I met for a sunrise to celebrate Lionsgate (8/8) where we did yoga and connected, and started our day by planting seeds of intention
Out of all of the years, I’ve been teaching yoga and leading experiences, I’ve never started a sunrise with the same people I ended a sunset with unless I was on a retreat with them.
These same ladies came back that evening for a beautiful and connective breathwork, journaling, Sound Bath and Oracle reading
Time spent together felt so meaningful that I didn’t want it to end
People say that photos are worth 1000 words, and I know I am nowhere near 1000 at this point, but each moment in time holds a story. A reminder of who we are, who we were, and the chance to be witnessed.
When you think about it, it’s all pretty awesome
