Just because your treatment plan might call for four or six vials of Sculptra doesn’t mean we’re going to inject all six in one appointment. We want to give your collagen a chance to clock in before we ask her to do overtime.
Most patients receive 2-3 vials per appointment, typically spaced 4-6 weeks apart. So we might do three vials now, another three in a month or so, and then let your collagen do its thing.
Unlike HA filler, Sculptra isn’t giving us instant volume. It’s kickstarting your body’s own collagen production, which gradually develops over the next 3-6 months. So our treatments are intentionally spaced so we can build on that response each time.
Once we’ve completed your initial series we like to touch base around the one year mark and see whether a little maintenance is in order.
She’s a slow burn, but trustttt.
Sculptra is worth the wait.
