Vigil Systems Cameraless indoor sensing designed to help families notice when something’s wrong - without recording

Demonstrating the newest dual radar prototype.

Two overlapping radar sensors are used to confirm motion before it’s treated as meaningful. No cameras. No microphones. This approach significantly reduces false detections while preserving privacy.

In the demo you can see my position (P4) as I move around the room along with a rough occupancy log.

Still early, but this configuration is already proving much more stable than single sensor setups.

I’m building a cameraless indoor sensing system to help families notice when something’s wrong - without recording people.

The goal of this project is to provide quiet, privacy respecting awareness of changes in daily activity, especially for aging parents living independently or in care facilities.

This page will share real prototypes, design decisions, and progress as the system evolves.

Still early, still learning, and building careful
