Today is more than a day of remembrance. It is a call to action ❤️✋🏽

Speak their names.
Share their stories.
Support families searching for their loved ones.
Protect our relatives.
Demand accountability and justice.

Our missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls and 2SLGBTQ+ relatives deserve more than awareness. They deserve action ✊🏽

People keep arguing about numbers.

How many children?
How many graves?
How many have been confirmed?

ONE IS MORE THAN ENOUGH!

This didn’t happen only in Tk’emlups. This happened across turtle island and is STILL happening to this day in other forms such as birth alerts, mmiwg2S, star light tours, prejudice in healthcare, racism, discrimination, and violence in the real world…

Take a read of my comments on my page.
Watch these ppl hide behind their fake accounts.
Look how comfortable they are with their racist hateful rhetoric.
Look at how politicians rage bait and use our struggles to build their platforms. It’s disgusting.

We are REAL PEOPLE… Survivors who have told their stories for generations and inter-generational survivors just trying to do better for the future generations to come.

Why are we normalizing digging up our bodies to make the colonizer comfortable? Do you know how fkd up that sounds? Like actually sit with that and think about it… what if it was your relative? Your sister? Your child?

And that is what gets lost when people become obsessed with capitalist greed and debating numbers.

We are somebody’s children.
Somebody’s mothers.
Somebody’s sisters.
Somebody’s auntie or uncle.
Somebody’s relatives.

🚨 Hold your friends and family accountable!🚨

Our humanity shouldn’t suddenly matter only once the number becomes large enough to make you finally care.

There shouldn’t have even been one. And as an indigenous mother… I am crushed. I am scared for the world I will eventually leave my daughter in. That’s the truth that needs to be shared.

Every Child Matters 🧡

September 30 is a day to remember the Indigenous children who were taken from their families and communities, honor Survivors of residential and boarding schools, and remember the children who never returned home.

But remembrance cannot end when September 30 is over.

We honor them when we listen to Survivors. When we learn the history. When we protect our children. When we speak our languages, practice our cultures, tell our stories and carry forward what generations before us fought to keep alive.

For the children. For the Survivors. For the generations still to come.

Every Child Matters 🧡 today, tomorrow and every day.

THESE CHILDREN MAY NEVER MAKE THE 5 O’CLOCK NEWS.

Their faces may never receive national coverage—but they are somebody’s children. They are loved, we care about them, and we are praying for their safe return.

When Native people disappear across the Northern Plains, families face rural isolation, jurisdictional confusion, limited resources and racism. Native youth are too often dismissed as “runaways” instead of treated as missing children. Not every law-enforcement agency responds this way, but too few give our cases the urgency they deserve.

There are only about 55 Native-centered domestic-violence shelters serving 574 federally recognized Tribes. Across South Dakota, Montana, North Dakota, Wyoming, Nebraska and Colorado, culturally grounded shelter beds remain dangerously limited. Advocacy and referrals matter—but a phone number is not a safe place to sleep.

PLEASE READ THEIR NAMES:

• Dominic Renville — South Dakota
• Raymond Points At Him — South Dakota
• Jeronimo Drapeaux — South Dakota
• Jace LeBeau — South Dakota
• Kourtney Yellow Hair — South Dakota
• Brayden Church — South Dakota
• Kiyana Reese — South Dakota
• Sevon Roubideaux — South Dakota
• Akicita Little — South Dakota
• Sa’Wade Birdinground — Montana

‼️DO NOT JUST LIKE THIS POST—RESHARE IT.

Share it across the Northern Plains. One person may recognize a face, remember something or hold the information that helps bring one of these children home.

We see them. We are saying their names. We are praying for their protection and safe return.
