Simply Soaperb Most commercial soap companies actually extract the Glycerine before making the soap - thus causing the soap to leave your skin feeling dry and itchy.

A little about us:

Why you should buy our handmade soap and not a store bought bar of soap

The Benefits of Handmade Soap over store bought soap:

Glycerine actually helps the skin to attract water to the skin. With you own soaps you just wont have that problem. Well, as long as you make sure that the soap's Ph level isn't over 10 - else your soap might burn and irritate the skin. www.natura

One of the major benefits of making your own soaps, is that it leaves Glycerine behind. This Glycerine is created by the chemical proccess that happens during the soap making process. Most commercial soaps actually extract the Glycerine so that they can sell it as a seperate product. Now the nice thing about Glycerine is that us act as a humectant, meaining it attracts moisture to the skin. You end up with a soap that doesn't leave your skin feeling all dry after using it, and costing you less than having to buy those expensive soap. It can also help with sensitive skin where soaps tend to create some allergic reactions. hubpages.com

Conventional soaps available in stores today are not really soaps at all, but detergents. Detergents are petroleum-based products that tend to leave your skin feeling dry, itchy and tight. Thankfully there is an alternative soap that offers multiple benefits when used. Because handmade soap has become affordable, its popularity is growing rapidly as a chemical free alternative to conventional soaps. Get Back to Nature

Handmade soaps are made with natural ingredients instead of cheap imitations which may cause irritation. Coconut, olive, and palm oils are carefully blended to create a skin smoothing concoction that cleanses the skin without drying it out. A variety of natural fragrance oils can also be added to the handmade soap for additional moisture locking effects. An example of the types of fragrance oils used include: orange, vanilla rose petals, almond, avocado, jojoba, cottonseed, etc. Most importantly, homemade soaps are respectful of nature by not testing their products on animals. Quality Supersedes Quantity

Handmade soap manufacturers take pride in the quality of their products. Most ingredients are hand-picked, sorted, and manufactured to produce a top quality product. Unlike conventional soap, it is said that homemade soap may even contain healing properties due to the lack of chemicals in the ingredients. People who suffer from skin conditions such as psoriasis and eczema can find relief by switching to an all-natural and chemical free handmade soap. Handmade Soap Does a Body Good

The skin is the largest human organ as well as the body’s first line of defense against dehydration, temperature, infection and harmful substances. Handmade soaps give your skin the care it deserves by gently cleansing and locking in moisture. The fragrances used in these products can also stimulate health. Cinnamon, for example, has the ability to increase blood flow. Spa-like Luxury

Life can be hectic at times and a humble luxury like a special bar of soap can be rewarding. A fragrant, handmade bar of soap is a simple indulgence that fosters a feeling of relaxation as well as the ever important feeling of being pampered. Handmade soap is a luxurious tool in keeping your skin healthy. With its creamy lather, wonderful fragrances, and now affordable prices, pampering yourself has never felt so good. Creative Works of Art

Perhaps the most appealing factor about homemade soaps is that they allow the soap manufacturer to be creative and experimental with different natural products. Adding oils, essences, natural exfoliates, and creating new and exciting designs and shapes. Nowadays, homemade soaps are able to have a variety of looks and the possibilities of ingredients are endless. Bars of soap can appear to have glass swirls or can even be embedded with chunks of oatmeal. Homemade soap is nothing like the chalky bars of the days of yore. Modern soap manufacturers have turned making soap into a marketable hobby that produces the finest, silkiest bars that look and feel luxurious. The secret ingredient to handmade soap is imagination. From intricate designs to beautiful aromas, handmade soaps are a simple luxury that nobody should do without. What Is Soap? Created by a chemical reaction between oils, water and lye soap is the oldest cleanser around. Although lye is used to make soap there is no lye left after saponification process is complete. All soaps are created with lye. Better than Grandma's! Sure you've heard of lye soap that grandma used to make, but in golden times it was hard to determine how much lye to use according to their recipes Most of grandma's soap recipes made created a product that was very harsh. We've come a long way BABY. The nice thing about technology is that we can better determine the qualities of our recipes by computer programs, leaving us with a skin beneficial non-harsh bar of soap. Store Brand Soap
Most soaps available in the store today are not really soaps at all, but detergents. Detergents are a petroleum based product, like gasoline and kerosene. Detergents tend to leave your skin feeling dry, itchy and tight. Certain ingredients in mass-marketed soap have been proven harmful to human health and can cause severe skin irritations in some people. The most common ingredient in store bought bar soaps is sodium tallowate. It is the combination tallow, or beef fat, with lye. Benefits of Handmade Soap
Those who suffer from skin conditions, as well as people that have sensitive skin or are hypoallergenic mostly find immediate relief by switching to a handmade soap. Compared to a store brand bar of soap, handmade soap is very mild. http://www.mels-smells.com/benefits/benefits-of-handmade-soap.htm

Simply Soaperb is a Mother/Daughter home based soap company. We have a passion for making soap that is not only environmentally conscious but great for your skin.

Our soaps can be personalized for baby/wedding showers and wedding favors. Simply Soaperb soaps can be made as a simple unscented Castile soap that has one ingredient - Olive Oil. Castile soaps are gentle enough for use on babies. A Castile soap can also have any scent added to it to make it a more pleasurable experience. Or go a little more wild with ingredients like Shea butter, coconut and palm oil. We can also add safe dyes to make soaps a certain color or swirl.

Simply Soaperb has a soap to please everyone, even the men! We make a most popular "Man Soap". The scent of the man soap can even be detected long after the shower. Or if you have a man/groom that loves beer, we can make soap from any beer. Beer is actually great for the skin, it has skin-softening amino acids. Fermented hops and natural sugars used in the process of making beer can invigorate your skin and increase circulation - nourishes your scalp and follicles.

Simply Soaperb is great for those that are interested in giving a favor that is personalized and lasting.

Our soaps range from $2.00-$4.00 for 3oz or $5.00-$6.50 for 6oz per bar depending on ingredients. Each bar is hand cut and can vary slightly in size. Our bars take 4-6 weeks to completely cure so please allow ample time when ordering.

If you are interested in a sample and/or have more questions, please feel free to contact us on Facebook at Simply Soaperb.

Have a great day!
