October is breast cancer awareness month! Several studies are now showing that antiperspirants are one cause of breast cancer. Your body sweats to release its toxins, when it can't, those toxins remain in your body and can build up. Applying deodorant with heavy metals puts toxins directly into your bloodstream, and directly into the breast area. Ever wonder what's in your deodorant? Here's my all natural recipe that I use daily! It can be customized with essential oils for whatever your body is needing....
1/4 cup coconut oil
4 tbs Beeswax
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/8 cup baking soda
4 tsp zinc oxide powder (optional)
2 tsp vitamin E oil
20 drops essential oils (mix and match your favorites!)
Mix the coconut oil, beeswax, and vitamin E oil in a double boiler until completely melted. Add cornstarch, baking soda, and zinc oxide, mix well until blended. Add your favorite essential oils. Pour into an empty deodorant container or a small baking (loaf) pan to make deodorant bars.
This recipe is similar to an antiperspirant but allows for some sweating as well. It's excellent scent control too! ❤
