There are so many things happening in this video that make me incredibly emotional. I am tearing up as I type this out.

This video is from yesterday. There are THREE things here that are honestly miraculous and I need to share.

(1.) My boy is climbing up a rock wall by himself... I truly never thought I would be able to see him do something like this. I know how awful this disease is to our kids and how much it steals from them.

(2.) He is talking... Talking. In sentences. He is talking to his friend that is calling his name and he says "Yes, I am coming." LIKE WHAT?! How impressive is he. 😍

(3.) He isn’t wearing a diaper. My smart man is going on the potty now. WOW... I couldn't be more proud.

For most parents these are things that are normal. For me, I wasn't sure if I would see any of it. I really didn't. And I don't know how long I will be able to witness these things but I am going to savor every second I can.

Thankful for his treatment, thankful for early diagnosis. Just so thankful.
