After an incredible 39-year career, Leslie Renteria, Lifestyle Coordinator and Activity Director, is retiring from the community she has loved and helped shape for nearly four decades. 😊✨

Since September 1987 — when the community first opened its doors as Renaissance and the construction trailer was still on-site — Leslie has been a constant source of joy, compassion, creativity, and connection for generations of residents. From the very beginning, she helped create not just a place to live, but a true community filled with laughter, friendship, meaningful experiences, and unforgettable memories.

Over the years, Leslie witnessed the community grow and evolve from Renaissance into its newest chapter as Asher Point under Sagora Senior Living. Through every season of change, one thing always remained the same: Leslie’s unwavering dedication to the residents she served so faithfully. Her ability to bring happiness, encourage connection, and touch countless lives has made her an irreplaceable part of the community’s story. Simply put, you cannot speak of this community — past or present — without mentioning Leslie Renteria. ❤️

As Leslie begins this well-deserved retirement, she leaves behind a beautiful legacy of kindness, creativity, laughter, and love. Asher Point of Sherman recently held a resident Door Decorating Contest, and what a fun time it was for everyone! 😊💛 The creativity and effort put into each door truly made our community shine with personality, color, and imagination.

The votes are finally in, and residents gathered together in the dining room for the exciting winner announcements! 🎉 There was so much joy, laughter, and anticipation as the winners were revealed — it was a special moment everyone truly enjoyed.

A very special thank you to Home Instead, Dynamic Wound Care, and Thera Care Home Health for their generous prize donations. Your support helped make this event even more meaningful for our residents. 💐✨
