The Arkansas Wellness Network, an initiative of Reinventing Ourselves 501(c)(3) has been invited to testify before the joint House and Senate Public Health, Welfare, and Labor Committee tomorrow and we couldn't be more excited to share what we are doing!! Joining us tomorrow will be two of our members ( Kathy Lenahan and Kanisha Sanders ) who have experienced first hand how the Arkansas Wellness Network can help them not only connect to resources to help clients but also how the Network can help promote their wellness business through networking events, our podcast, a peer reviewed Arkansas Wellness magazine, and events like the Arkansas Wellness Summit and speaking opportunities like the Healthy Moms, Healthy Babies breakfast brought to Arkansas by the Central Arkansas Women's Expo, Baptist Health: Labor & Delivery, and KARK 4 News.

So excited to have Kanisha Sanders, one of our Verified Wellness Providers represent the Arkansas Wellness Network at the breakfast for new and expectant moms at the Central Arkansas Women's Expo. Kanisha is a Registered Nurse in the NICU, a Board-Certified Nurse Coach, founder of THE RERISE, Mom of 3, and a Verified Wellness Provider within the Arkansas Wellness Network.

We are incredibly proud to announce that the Governor of Arkansas has issued an official proclamation recognizing August 2026 as Arkansas Wellness Month!

This proclamation represents more than a moment of recognition—it is a statewide call to action. Together, we can create healthier individuals, stronger families, more connected communities, and a brighter future for Arkansas.

Throughout August, the Arkansas Wellness Network and Reinventing Ourselves will highlight the many dimensions of wellness, share valuable resources, celebrate Arkansas wellness champions, and encourage individuals, businesses, organizations, and communities to make wellness a priority.
