This weekend, the Scotts Bluff County Thunder made the trip to Kearney to compete in a bowling tournament. While we went there to bowl, we came home with something so much more valuable—memories we’ll carry with us for a long time.

There were plenty of laughs, a few great moments on the lanes, some not-so-great moments 😂, and lots of cheering each other on. But the best part wasn’t the scores or the competition. It was the time spent together.

There’s something special about traveling together, sharing meals, telling stories, laughing until your stomach hurts, and simply enjoying one another’s company. These are the moments that remind us that we’re more than a team—we’re a Thunder family. ⚡❤️

Every trip, every tournament, every laugh, and every challenge brings us a little closer together. We’re incredibly grateful for the friendships, the support, and the memories we continue to make along the way.

Kearney gave us a bowling tournament, but Scotts Bluff County Thunder gave us another weekend we’ll never forget. 🎳❤️

The World Cup may be in the books but Thunder's soccer team is ramping up. Come join us Thursday nights at 5:00 at Scottsbluff Skatepark (across from Sonic on Avenue I). Coach Shelby will teach you everything you need to know about "football."

Today Team Thunder had a fun get together at the pioneers game! It was a great time had by all. We also got to see Melissa Smith sing the National Anthem and The One and Only Diego throw the first pitch!!! Thanks Terry and Lise for orchestrating the everything!!!

What a glorious day! Sheriff Overman is soaking up the sunshine. It's amazing to think that just last year, the river was frozen solid on the eve of the plunge. Join us tomorrow to cheer on the teams taking the plunge for an incredible cause. A huge thank you to everyone who has donated and supported the Panhandle Special Olympic teams.

Today, our athlete Decker had the opportunity to serve as an Ambassador for our team. Each month, the Platte Valley Dental Group Smile Foundation selects a non-profit organization or family to receive a donation. This month, Holly chose our team as the recipient of the donation, likely due to Decker's exceptional character and role model status among our athletes and coaches. His outgoing personality knows no bounds when it comes to meeting new people and bringing joy to everyone he encounters. This aligns perfectly with the mission of Platte Valley Dental Group, whose outstanding staff make a positive impact every day. Thank you for everything you do to give back to our amazing community.
