What a glorious day! Sheriff Overman is soaking up the sunshine. It's amazing to think that just last year, the river was frozen solid on the eve of the plunge. Join us tomorrow to cheer on the teams taking the plunge for an incredible cause. A huge thank you to everyone who has donated and supported the Panhandle Special Olympic teams.

Today, our athlete Decker had the opportunity to serve as an Ambassador for our team. Each month, the Platte Valley Dental Group Smile Foundation selects a non-profit organization or family to receive a donation. This month, Holly chose our team as the recipient of the donation, likely due to Decker's exceptional character and role model status among our athletes and coaches. His outgoing personality knows no bounds when it comes to meeting new people and bringing joy to everyone he encounters. This aligns perfectly with the mission of Platte Valley Dental Group, whose outstanding staff make a positive impact every day. Thank you for everything you do to give back to our amazing community.

We've just wrapped up an incredible journey, marked by outstanding achievements and unforgettable experiences! Our athletes embarked on an eastern-bound adventure via the Oregon train, vying for excellence and pushing beyond their limits. Every single athlete demonstrated remarkable dedication, returning home with well-deserved medals and ribbons. Yet, the most profound rewards were the lasting bonds forged through sportsmanship and camaraderie. We're deeply grateful for our remarkable staff, Unified partners, and parents, whose tireless efforts and unwavering support propel us forward. Together, with the community's backing, we're creating a legacy of empowerment, friendship, and triumph. Thank you for being an integral part of this journey!

Some Thunder athletes and unified partners joined other teams in the Regional West Medical kickball tournament on Saturday. This was our second year and although the scoreboard wasn't our friend everyone had fun. Thank you Steve at Budge-It Drain Service
