Quick question for New Jersey autism parents: Do you actually know if your childโs current ABA agency can stay with them after they turn 21? ๐ค
Let's test it right now. The state of New Jersey gives families a completely public, transparent tool to see exactly which companies are officially approved to provide adult care under the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD).
Take the 60-Second Challenge:
1) Head over to the official state directory here: ๐ NJ DDD Provider Search (https://irecord.dhs.state.nj.us/providersearch)
2) Type the name of the ABA agency your child currently uses into the "Provider Name" bar.
3) Click search.
Did anything pop up? ๐
For many of the most recognizable clinics in our region, the screen will stay completely blank. That is because most traditional ABA providers stop shortโthey are authorized for pediatric care, but lack the intensive state credentials required to support adults with developmental disabilities.
Now, type in Abundance Behavioral.
Effective this July, we officially received our state clearance. We are incredibly proud to be among the few local, clinician-led agencies listed on the state registry that specialize in behavioral care for both pediatrics and adults alike.
We didn't want to build temporary solutions that expire. When you join our upcoming Hillsborough Center or enroll in our in-home programs, you are building a permanent, lifelong bridge for your child's independence.
Don't wait for the "Age 21 Cliff" to figure out what comes next. Verify your care, know your options, and secure your child's long-term peace of mind today.
โจ Our September Hillsborough Day Center Priority Registry is open, and we have immediate availability for local In-Home ABA care.

โ ๏ธ Important Update Regarding Adult DDD Services: While Abundance Behavioral is officially DDD-approved to provide In-Home and Community-Based Behavioral Supports for adults, we are still finalizing our designated Place of Service approval for facility-based adult care. Our upcoming Hillsborough Day Center is currently building out its physical registry, but it is not operating an active, approved adult DDD day facility at this very moment. We are fully committed to compliance and transparency; a formal public announcement will be issued as soon as our physical location receives its final state clearance.
