Install Day!!! Once again I failed at getting a before and after, but I did get my install progress. This was my first curly extension install and I am so glad I decided to take it on. This client came to me with a perm that had gone bad. Her extremely thick hair sat just above her shoulders and needed some major help. We started off with the right at home care. Decided to glaze over her overly processed highlights for a healthier look. And finished off with 3 rows of curly extensions. Is it perfect. No. And we both knew that would be the case. It’s a great start and we will get there. Fixing a hair disaster can be a long process, but it’s possible. Patience is key! I have been a stylist for 18 years and I am still constantly learning new things. Looking forward to learning more about this extension option and being able to offer this service to curly girls! Ladies…chemical hair services are no joke! Choose your stylist wisely! ☺️😘

When hair day falls the day before family picture day…👌🏻🙌🏼👍🏻 I would love to say this beauty is wearing a row of extensions, but she’s all natural! She is wearing a full head of softly painted highlights, glazed with a beautiful copper brown tone!

And just like that I have finished my maternity leave for the 3rd time. Wow!!! How crazy this feels and how fast it has gone. I can’t thank my husband and kiddos enough for being supportive of me and my career as a hairdresser! It’s my passion and making it all work is far from easy, but we do our best. A huge shout out to our Nancy, grandma and grandpa for being the real MVP’s! We love you! And last but not least my coworkers and clients. My boss/manager for giving me all the time I felt needed. My talented coworkers for taking on my clientele while I was gone. The kick ass receptionists for taking care of my schedule. And last but not least my clients. Thank you for sticking with me through this wild ride! You all are family to me and I am forever grateful. I’m ready for you 2022! 😘🤰🏼💇🏻‍♂️💆🏼‍♀️🤟🏻☺️💪🏻

Extensions don’t have to be super long! Let’s be honest...who doesn’t love long, gorgeous mermaid hair?! It’s stunning! That doesn’t mean it’s realistic for everyone. I talked into starting longer with her .co extensions. Mainly because once you cut them you can’t go back. So she listened like a good client and wore them longer to start. We decided yesterday that it just wasn’t for her. I love the change we made in length. It fits hers perfectly! She said the main thing she would miss about not ever having these in is the volume! So keep in mind that extensions aren’t just for length. One row would do wonders for body and volume!

**TRUTH**
The truth is I contemplated even sharing these pictures. Not because my model isn’t stunning, but because I’m a perfectionist and I see so many things wrong with my work! I was certified with .co not even a month ago and I have a lot of practicing to still do, but I’m proud of what I have put out in less than a month. This first install may not be perfect, but I strive for nothing less. Stick around to see more on my hair extension journey!
