One thing losing 30kg taught me is that you don’t have to completely give up the foods you love. You just have to understand that not everything needs to be eaten with the same frequency.
Most days, I built my meals around foods that kept me full and supported my goals: protein, fruits, vegetables, whole foods and sensible portions of carbs.
Then I made room for foods I enjoyed throughout the week without feeling guilty.
And those richer, higher-calorie meals? I still enjoyed them too, just less often.
This helped me stay in a calorie deficit without feeling like I was constantly on a restrictive diet.
Weight loss isn’t about eating perfectly. It’s about what your eating habits look like MOST of the time.
Your everyday choices will always matter more than the occasional burger, pizza or ice cream.
That balance is one of the reasons I was able to lose 30kg without giving up the foods I love.
