Not every success story looks the same. Dr. Jessica Schonhut-Stasik is showing the world what’s possible when autistic individuals are given opportunities to pursue their passions.

What dreams are you helping someone achieve today? 💙

💙 A Reminder for Today 💙

Progress doesn’t always look the way people expect.

Sometimes progress is making a new friend.
Sometimes it’s trying a new activity.
Sometimes it’s leaving the house when anxiety says not to.
Sometimes it’s simply feeling accepted for who you are.

For many neurodiverse adults, these moments are huge victories that deserve to be celebrated.

At Solo’s Spot, we believe every person deserves opportunities to connect, belong, and thrive in a community that values them exactly as they are.

The world often focuses on limitations. We choose to focus on possibilities. ✨

If you know a neurodiverse adult, tell us something they’re proud of accomplishing recently. Big or small—we’d love to celebrate with you. ❤️

Inclusion isn’t always about fitting into the world around us—sometimes it’s about people bringing the world to you. ❤️

Today, Solo got to experience something special. Attending a crowded car show isn’t always possible for him, but his amazing bus driver found a way to bring the car show to us. 🚗✨

Moments like this remind us that inclusion isn’t about expecting everyone to participate the same way. It’s about creating opportunities, making accommodations, and ensuring everyone feels valued, seen, and included.

At Solo’s Spot, this is exactly what we believe in—a world where adults with disabilities can experience community, friendship, and meaningful moments without barriers.

Thank you to the people who go the extra mile to make inclusion a reality. You may think it’s a small gesture, but to families like ours, it means everything.

🌟 Inclusion Changes Lives 🌟

Everyone deserves the opportunity to be part of their community—not just to be present, but to belong.

For neurodiverse adults and individuals with disabilities, meaningful community inclusion can lead to increased confidence, stronger social skills, greater independence, and improved mental well-being. Whether it’s joining a bowling league, volunteering, shopping independently, attending local events, or simply building friendships, these experiences help create connections that enrich lives.

But inclusion doesn’t just benefit the individual—it strengthens our entire community. When people of all abilities learn, work, socialize, and participate together, we create a more understanding, compassionate, and welcoming world.

At Solo’s Spot, we believe every person has unique strengths, talents, and gifts to share. Our goal is to help create opportunities where those strengths can shine while fostering genuine friendships and community connections.

Inclusion isn’t about fitting people into the community. It’s about building communities where everyone belongs.

❤️ If you believe everyone deserves a place to belong, give this post a share and help spread the message.

💙 A quick update from Solos Spot 💙

We’re excited to share that we are actively building our community and growing our interest/waitlist for future programs and activities for neurodiverse adults.

Every message, follow, share, and conversation reminds us how needed inclusive community spaces truly are.

Right now, we’re also exploring:
✨ Fundraising opportunities
✨ Community partnerships
✨ Scholarship support for families
✨ Future social groups and outings
✨ Affordable ways to make programs accessible to everyone

Our goal has always been bigger than just activities — we want to help create connection, confidence, independence, and belonging.

This is still the beginning, but the support so far has been incredibly encouraging. Thank you to everyone cheering us on and believing in this vision.

If you know a family who may benefit from a supportive community like this, we’d love for you to invite them to follow along as we continue building something meaningful together. 💙

💙 A reminder to every parent, caregiver, and family member supporting a neurodiverse loved one:

You are doing better than you think.

The appointments.
The advocating.
The burnout.
The worry about the future.
The constant effort to help your loved one feel safe, accepted, and included in a world that isn’t always built for them…

It’s a lot.

But every ride to therapy, every encouraging word, every moment of patience, and every time you show up — it matters more than you know.

And to our neurodiverse adults:
You are not “too much.”
You are not broken.
You deserve friendship, independence, fun, purpose, and community just like everyone else.

That’s why Solos Spot exists. 💙

We’re building a future where neurodiverse adults have opportunities to connect, grow confidence, learn life skills, and simply belong.
