As you celebrate this Fourth of July, please remember that not everyone experiences fireworks the same way.

For many autistic individuals, veterans, young children, pets, and others with sensory sensitivities, the loud noises can be overwhelming and even distressing.

If you’re celebrating tonight:
• Be mindful of the volume and timing of fireworks.
• Give your neighbors a heads-up if you’re planning a display.
• Show a little extra patience and kindness to those who may be struggling.

A strong community is one that celebrates together while looking out for one another.

From all of us at Solo’s Spot, have a fun, safe, and thoughtful Independence Day! ❤️🤍💙

🇺🇸 Happy Fourth of July from all of us at Solo’s Spot! ❤️🤍💙

Today we celebrate freedom, community, and the moments that bring people together.

As we continue building Solo’s Spot, we’re reminded that true independence looks different for everyone. Our goal is to create a place where autistic and neurodiverse adults can build friendships, gain confidence, learn new skills, and be part of a welcoming community where they truly belong.

If you’re spending time with family today, we hope it’s filled with laughter, connection, and great memories. If you or someone you love finds the holiday a little overwhelming, know that it’s okay to celebrate in whatever way feels comfortable.

We’re excited for the future and grateful for everyone who has joined our journey so far. If you believe in our mission, we’d love for you to share our page and join our waitlist as we work toward opening our doors.

Have a safe, happy, and meaningful Fourth of July! 🎆

⚽🌍 The World Cup is reminding us of something bigger than soccer.

People from different countries, cultures, abilities, and backgrounds are coming together to celebrate a shared experience. Community has a way of bringing out the best in all of us.

At Solo’s Spot, that’s exactly the kind of community we’re building.

Our vision is a place where autistic and neurodiverse adults can make friends, learn new skills, build confidence, and simply belong. A place where everyone is welcomed, included, and celebrated for who they are.

While we’re still in the early stages, every waitlist signup helps us demonstrate the need for a space like this in our community. If you know someone who could benefit from Solo’s Spot, we’d love for you to share our mission with them.

💙 Autistic adults deserve more than services—they deserve community.

Too often, the conversation around autism focuses on childhood. But autistic individuals don’t outgrow the need for friendship, belonging, meaningful activities, and opportunities to thrive.

At Solo’s Spot, we believe every adult deserves a place where they are welcomed, respected, and celebrated for who they are. A place to build confidence, create friendships, learn new skills, and simply enjoy being part of a community that understands.

As we continue building Solo’s Spot, we’re excited about creating a space where autistic adults and adults with other developmental disabilities can connect, laugh, grow, and be themselves.

Everyone deserves a place where they belong. 💙

If you believe our community needs more opportunities for autistic adults, we’d love for you to follow our journey, share our mission, and help us build something truly special

No matter what changes happen, our community matters. 💙

We know many families are hearing news about changes to special education and wondering what it could mean for their loved ones. Times of change can bring uncertainty, questions, and concern.

At Solo’s Spot, our mission hasn’t changed.

We believe every individual deserves opportunities to learn, build friendships, and be part of a welcoming community. We also believe families deserve support, encouragement, and a place where they know they belong.

As we continue building Solo’s Spot, we’re committed to standing alongside our community, sharing resources when we can, and creating a place where individuals can thrive—regardless of what changes may come.

We’re grateful you’re on this journey with us. Together, we’re building something that will make a lasting difference. 💙

💙 Happy Father’s Day! 💙

Today, we celebrate the dads, grandpas, stepdads, and father figures who show up with patience, strength, and unconditional love every single day.

To the fathers of neurodiverse children and adults, we see the extra miles you travel, the advocacy you provide, the challenges you face, and the countless victories—both big and small—that you help make possible. Your dedication helps create a world where your loved ones can thrive.

Thank you for being a source of encouragement, stability, and support. Your impact reaches far beyond what you may realize.

From all of us at Solo’s Spot, we wish you a day filled with appreciation, joy, and the recognition you deserve.

💙 Happy Father’s Day! 💙

☀️ Summer Break is Here ☀️

For many families, summer means vacations, sunshine, and a break from routine.

For caregivers of neurodiverse individuals, summer can also mean longer days, disrupted schedules, fewer support services, and less time to recharge.

Caring for someone you love is rewarding, but everyone needs time to rest, reset, and take care of themselves too.

Respite isn’t about taking a break from your loved one—it’s about making sure you have the energy, patience, and support to continue being the amazing caregiver they need.

As we build the Solo’s Spot community, we’re thinking about all the families who could benefit from safe, engaging opportunities for neurodiverse adults while caregivers take a well-deserved breath.

💙 If you’re a caregiver, what’s one thing you wish you had more time for this summer?

💙 Welcome to the Solo’s Spot Community! 💙

We’ve noticed quite a few new faces joining us recently, and we wanted to take a moment to say thank you and welcome!

Whether you’re a caregiver, family member, self-advocate, friend, or simply someone who believes in building a more inclusive community, we’re glad you’re here.

Solo’s Spot was created from a simple belief: every neurodiverse adult deserves opportunities for connection, belonging, growth, and fun—and every caregiver deserves support and respite.

We’re still growing and working toward opening our doors, but this page is already becoming something special—a community of people who care.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing resources, uplifting stories, community events, behind-the-scenes updates, and ways you can help us make this vision a reality.

💙 Thank you for being part of the journey from the very beginning.

🌟 Big Dreams Start Small 🌟

Every community resource that changes lives started with a simple idea and a lot of heart.

Solo’s Spot isn’t open yet, but every day we’re taking steps toward creating a place where neurodiverse adults can connect, build friendships, learn new skills, and feel a true sense of belonging.

We believe everyone deserves a space where they are accepted for who they are—not asked to fit in, but welcomed exactly as they are.

Thank you to everyone who has joined our journey so far. Every follow, share, conversation, and word of encouragement helps us move one step closer to making this dream a reality.

❤️ We’re not just building a program.
🏠 We’re building a community.

What does “belonging” mean to you or your family? We’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments.
