Come celebrate culture, community, and connection at Unity in the Community — Spokane’s largest multicultural celebration! 🌎💙

We’re excited to be tabling at this year’s CVSD Back-to-School Resource Fair and hope you’ll stop by to say hello!
This FREE event is open to all CVSD families and students and is packed with resources to help kick off the new school year, including:

Today, we are incredibly grateful for the generosity of Carolyn Alm, who made a meaningful donation to Lions Heart Children’s Grief Center in loving memory of her son, Jacob (Jake) Taylor Alm. ❤️ (Although, according to Jake, Carolyn was the only one allowed to call him Jacob —everyone else knew him as Jake.)

Honoring Jake’s memory through kindness and compassion helps ensure that grieving children and families in our community continue to receive the support they need. We are deeply thankful for Carolyn’s generosity and for choosing to celebrate Jake’s life by making a lasting difference in the lives of others.

Thank you, Carolyn, for your support and for helping us bring hope, healing, and connection to children navigating grief.

At Lions Heart Grief Center for Children, we believe no child should grieve alone. 💙
Through compassionate support, meaningful connections, and a safe place to express their feelings, children can learn that they don’t have to face their grief by themselves.
