Happy gotcha week to this little critter! Monty is 6 pounds of pure joy. Just what our broken hearts needed after losing Ozzy last year. Every day is a fun adventure with this little guy around💜

April, 2026, you are just about a wrap! Here are some highlights before I head back to work. My hip recovery has been amazing and I’m so grateful. It’s been great to turn up the intensity… oh and yes I spent quality time in the sourdough lab😂 🥖
What are you looking forward to in May?
Im hoping for some golf and pickleball!

Officially 12 weeks post-op and my surgeon cleared me for ALL activity. I did not see that coming so soon. You know I had to take the bionic hip to the Comeback Trail for a power walk and maybe a few, pickup intervals. It’s all systems go so far! We’ll see if Ms. Hipster has anything to say about it later on. What are you up to on this chilly, gloomy spring day?

Happy Earth Day. Let’s leave it better than we found it.🌎

I had to look at the calendar to remember how many weeks post-op I am now. The answer is 9. I’m starting to forget about my bionic hip and just do my thing, building back my stamina. It was way too nice of a day to bike inside so to the trail I went. Spring is finally springing! What’s it like where you are?

I’m officially 9 weeks post-op and one thing I’ve hesitated to do is really push some power on the bike with my bionic hip. Because of that, working up a good sweat and getting to zone 3 has been rare. This week that changed. I summoned the courage to get out of the saddle for hill work and sprint intervals and my hip was all for it!🎉 It’s all about celebrating the little things!
Hope you all have a wonderful Easter and Passover!

March is just about a wrap! I’m 8 weeks post-op and my bionic hip is onboard with everything I’ve thrown its way so far. The sourdough bakery is coming along nicely, pups are being their cute little selves and this is the highlight reel. Hope you all had an amazing month and April is even better!

Greetings from the comeback trail! It’s such a gorgeous day I had to get out for a long walk. I’m 7 weeks post-op and so far my bionic hip is just fine with the bike sprints as well as the weight I’ve added to my strength workouts this week. My posterior chain, on the other hand, is in a world of hurt.😂😜 We’ll get there!
What are you up to this fine humpday?
