MYTH: An AED could shock someone who doesn’t need it.
FACT: AEDs analyze the heart’s rhythm and will only advise a shock when one is needed.

That’s why you shouldn’t be afraid to use one. Turn it on, follow the prompts, and let the AED guide you. Call. Push. Shock. 💜

Do you know where the nearest AED is?

Take 30 seconds today to find it at work, school, the gym, church, or the sports field. In a cardiac emergency, knowing where to go can save precious time.

Find it before you need it.

Sudden cardiac arrest can happen without warning. If someone suddenly collapses, is unresponsive, and is not breathing normally or is only gasping, act fast. Call 911. Start CPR. Use an AED.
