🩺 Crazy Healthcare Fact of the Day

Your body contains enough blood vessels to wrap around the Earth more than twice.

If you stretched out all the arteries, veins, and capillaries in an average adult, they would measure about 60,000 miles (96,500 km) long. Considering the Earth’s circumference is about 24,900 miles, that’s enough to circle the planet over two times!

🤯 The vast majority of those vessels are tiny capillaries, which deliver oxygen and nutrients to nearly every cell in your body.

What’s the most surprising thing you’ve learned about the human body?

💙 Surviving Grief Isn’t About “Moving On” 💙

Some days grief is loud.

It shows up in tears you didn’t expect, memories that hit out of nowhere, or an empty chair that still feels impossible to look at.

Other days, grief is quiet.

It’s the moment you laugh and then feel guilty for laughing. It’s hearing a song, smelling a familiar scent, or wishing you could pick up the phone one more time.

If you’re grieving, I want you to know this:

🌿 There is no timeline.
🌿 There is no “right way” to grieve.
🌿 You don’t have to be strong every moment.
🌿 Healing doesn’t mean forgetting.

Sometimes surviving grief means simply getting out of bed.
Sometimes it means asking for help.
Sometimes it means carrying both sadness and gratitude in the same heart.

Be gentle with yourself. You’re not the same person you were before the loss, and that’s okay. Grief changes us—but it can also teach us to love more deeply, cherish more fully, and appreciate the moments we still have.

If no one has told you today: you’re doing better than you think. ❤️

✨ What is one thing you do to honor someone you miss?

🌱 Growth Looks Different Than You Think

Sometimes growth looks like chasing a dream.

Sometimes it looks like surviving a hard season.

Sometimes it looks like setting a boundary, asking for help, or simply getting out of bed when everything feels heavy.

Not all growth is loud and obvious. Some of the most important growth happens quietly—in the small choices you make every day, in the lessons learned from mistakes, and in the courage to keep moving forward even when progress feels slow.

Wherever you are today, give yourself credit. The person you are now knows things, handles challenges, and carries wisdom that the version of you from a year ago didn’t have.

🌿 What is one way you’ve grown in the last year?

💙 A Little Reminder About Kindness 💙

You never really know what someone is carrying.

The coworker who seems distracted may be caring for a sick loved one.
The cashier who forgot your item may be working their third shift this week.
The person who seems short-tempered may be fighting a battle they haven’t shared with anyone.

Kindness costs nothing, but it can mean everything.

A smile.
A kind word.
A little patience.
A moment of grace.

The world gives us plenty of opportunities to be critical. Let’s choose to be kind instead.

You may never know how much your kindness changes someone’s day—or even their life.

✨ Be the reason someone feels seen today.

❤️ What’s one act of kindness you’ve received that you’ll never forget?

💙 For the Person Who Needed This Today 💙

You don’t have to earn your worth by being productive every minute of the day.

You are not your job title.
You are not your to-do list.
You are not the mistakes you made this week.

You are a person who is learning, growing, and doing the best you can with what you have today.

Some days you’ll feel strong.
Some days you’ll feel tired.
Both days are part of the journey.

So if today feels heavy, give yourself the same grace you would give a friend.

The world needs more people who keep showing up—even when things aren’t perfect.

And if that’s you today, you’re doing better than you think. ❤️
