Proverbs 16:3/Colossians 3:23

Each day is a gift from God. Each day we should strive for excellence in everything we do as if we were working unto the Lord, for his glory- not for the glory of ourselves or man, not even to be compensated. He doesn't ask us to be perfect, but to be faithful and devoted in showing up for the work he has given you with your mind on him in all you do. Have a prosperous day in Jesus name!

Guard your purpose at all costs!!

1.) let emotional baggage go (sins, past hurts, nostalgia, old wounds, patterns). The enemy uses your past to accuse you, to embarrass you, to steal your peace, make a mockery of your growth, and kill your purpose by taking away your focus from the present. God says to let the former things go, for he is doing a NEW thing.

2.) stay disciplined and pure in mind, body and spirit. How can your altar be strengthened when we defile ourselves with distractions, lust, and entertainment

3.) walk WITH the Lord, abiding in Christ so that Christ may abide in you. For a man thinks his steps are correct but they lead to death. Lean not on your own understanding and stop taking matters into your own hands!

4.) move with intention, purpose and urgency! Never put off til tomorrow what you can do today, the Lord is watching and everything must be done unto him, tomorrow is not promised the time is now! A little slumber, a little sleep, a little idleness and your temple becomes the devil's workshop!

James 3:9-12

let us put away perverse and evil speech this holiday season. In James 3:1-6 talks about the tongue having the ability to set a whole person's life on fire, and that fire comes from hell when it's unrestrained. Let us not be a stumbling block to our brothers and sisters but let us show restraint and edify one another in love because we are all facing internal wars of our own. Love God, love yourself, love your neighbor.
