Neutral communication isn’t cold.
It’s calm.
It’s intentional.
It’s how many parents protect their nervous system. ❤️‍🩹
You don’t owe emotional access to someone who misuses it

Some days the hardest part of healing is pretending you’re okay for your kids.
You love them.
You show up.
You keep going. ❤️‍🩹🤍
And sometimes that takes everything you have.
If no one has said it to you today:
You’re doing something incredibly hard — and you’re still standing.
That matters more than you know.

This year, let's stay focused on our peace, even in co-parenting moments that feel triggering and messy.

Here are 3 ways to stay neutral and protect your energy:

1️⃣ Pause before replying
2️⃣ Stick to facts, not feelings
3️⃣ Use prepared scripts until it's second hand (I promise in time you won't feel the urge to respond with rage because that's what he wants you to do). 🤍

I'm rooting for you Momma, I mean that. If you haven't already, grab our free Neutral Co-Parenting Script Pack here:

Co-parenting after narcissistic abuse isn’t about being friendly.
It’s about being neutral, grounded and boundaried.
And protecting your children without abandoning yourself. ❤️‍🩹

One of the hardest parts of leaving a narcissistic relationship isn’t just the leaving.

It’s the after.

It’s realizing how much you learned to doubt yourself.
How often you apologized just to keep the peace.
How tired you feel now that the chaos has stopped– but your body hasn’t caught up yet.

If you’re co-parenting and wondering:
“Why is this still so hard?”
“Why do I freeze before responding?”
“Why do I feel guilty for needing boundaries?”

There’s a reason.

Your nervous system has adapted to survive something unsafe.

Nothing about you is broken.

Healing isn’t about becoming someone new– it’s about coming back to yourself, slowly and gently.

You’re allowed to take this one day at a time.

🤍 You’re safe here.

If you’re a single mom who left a relationship that slowly broke you down…
I want you to know — you’re not alone here.

This space is for women who:
• were told they were “too sensitive”
• learned to walk on eggshells
• are now trying to co-parent while healing
• love their kids deeply but feel exhausted and overwhelmed

Maybe the outside looks fine.
Maybe people don’t really know what you lived through.

But you do.

Here, we talk about:
– healing without living in the pain
– setting boundaries without guilt
– co-parenting in ways that protect your peace
– rebuilding a life that actually feels safe again

You don’t have to explain yourself here.
You don’t have to be “strong” all the time.

✨ I made a free Neutral Co-Parenting Script Pack for the moments you don’t know what to say and just need words you can trust. It’s linked above.

If this resonates, you’re welcome here.
Follow Time 4 Healing — we’re taking this one step at a time.
