✨️Title: A Court of Silver flames by Sarah J Maas

Of all books in the series, this was quite possibly my favorite. Nesta started out as my least favorite character in the first books. She was easy to hate because of her cold and absolutely callous demeanor towards anyone and everyone who showed her love and kindness. This book shows the pain and self hate that she hides behind her mask and lets no one else see or know. It shows the reader how hurt people will absolutely hurt people because misery loves company.
What I loved about this specific story was how we were given the opportunity to experience a person who is hurting and lashing out finally start to wake up and work on healing herself. It reminds the reader that you can not heal someone, you can not change someone, no matter how much you love them and you show them kindness, a person can not and will not heal or change unless THEY want it. I connected personally with this book the most of them all because of my own personal struggles with mental health and my constant battle to not let the darkness take over and consume me. This book was an incredible representation of mental health and how anyone, no matter how far gone you are, can heal from what has broken them. And in that healing you can slowly and on your own time allow others in to love you, because you are truly deserving of love. This book was done beautifully and with all of that it still was able to tie in the continuous flow of our main plot line from the other books as well. It didn't feel forced or disjointed from Nesta's journey, instead it flowed and worked very well. Such a beautiful book.
