What a year of becoming.
It’s easy to cheer on a beginning when you’re sent out to do something new. What I celebrate is seeing you in your middle - where the road is one of building mastery, where you no longer ride on emotion but you ride on purpose, and where you say yes to the territory God has entrusted to you. Out of all your accomplishments this year (and there are many), what I hold you in the highest for is your heart for legacy - with all that encompasses and asks of you - and your love for me through it all. I’m with you til the end.

In 2013 I traveled back to Korea for the first time since being adopted, attending Inje University in Gimhae with some of the most extraordinary humans on the planet 🫰 I feel blessed to write that these friends and Korea became home for the next few years, and it will always be one. The experience both broke me open & put me back together ❤️ It’s been a peculiar thing being both east & west, and now I wouldn’t live any other way because I can own what has been given to me. And as my friend and I would always say at that point in our lives and now, the world is our oyster. Here’s to our 10 year reunion from 2023 that I hold dear, of my beautiful friends and my beautiful motherland 🇰🇷❤️✌️
