Can you guess what we just finished cooking up?? 👩🏻‍🍳

We are so so excited to be able to offer another salve very soon! Labels are in the designing process and we cannot wait to finish these up!

I do have to say, one of my favorite parts of creating herbal mixtures is that they never really are fully finished. There is something so fun and satisfying to trying your own product and saying “oo that’s good, what could we do next time to make it even better?”. Shoutout to all of our guinea pigs throughout the processes☺️. We love how this turned out and already have more ideas on how to kick it up a step!

Stay tuned 👀

Hey everyone! As we get closer to spring, there’s a little someone I wanted to introduce you to that you can grow in your own garden this year😉

Lemon Balm 🍋🌱

Lemon balm is in the mint family so I would highly recommend planting in its own container (unless you want an army of lemon balm plants). It does well in full sun to partial shade and should be in a well draining area. “Why should I grow lemon balm?” Well, I’m glad you asked!

Lemon balm is like a supportive hug from a friend to your nervous system. Many will use it in teas before bedtime to aid in relaxation and give an overall calming affect. It is also very helpful for stressful days in general, and within supporting stress reduction, it then can be great for getting a better nights sleep! Another great aspect of lemon balm is its traditional use to ease bloating or stomach pains as well as menstrual cramps.

Lemon balm can be used in teas, infusions (add into honey, vinegar, butter or an oil of your choice), or straight into salads! It can also be used topically as well.

Add some lemon balm to your garden this spring and see how you like it! The pollinators sure love it😊

Tis the season for stuffy noses, runny noses, and all of those not so fun things that come with the new season. Every year it feels inevitable right? Just waiting for that first sniffle to start. That is why I want to shine the spotlight over to elderberries! Elderberry syrup is a great preventative to help our bodies fight off these annoying colds and flus that love to come back every year. Along with a tasty elderberry syrup, make sure you are getting fresh air, and that your house does as well! A huge reason for colds is actually that we tend to be confined to our homes more in winter, and our houses are holding onto all of that stale, sick air. Turn off the heat and pop open a window for 10 minutes and see if you notice any changes😊 Check out the other benefits of Elderberries below, and what else you may find in the syrup.

Question: would this be a product that you are interested in seeing in our shop? If so, drop your ideas in the comments!
