Yesterday, we celebrated Breast Cancer Awareness Day here at People First! 💗

Our individuals got creative and made beautiful pink bracelets to show their support, spread awareness, and honor those who have been affected by breast cancer! 🎀💕

A little reminder to everyone: Know your body, check for changes, and stay up to date with recommended breast cancer screenings! Early detection can save lives! 💖

Together, we wear pink, spread hope, and support one another! 💪🎀

🚒🔥 Fire Prevention Week🔥🚒

Earlier this week, we visited the Stow Fire Department for a tour and learned more about fire safety! 🧯We love giving our individuals opportunities to learn important life skills and ways to stay safe in their everyday lives! A big thank you to the Stow Fire Department for taking the time to show us around and help us learn! 🚒

We are incredibly proud to congratulate our Director of Operations, Pam Davis, on being inducted into the 2026 Special Olympics Hall of Fame! 🎉

For the past 30 years, Pam has been involved with Special Olympics, dedicating her time, passion, and heart to supporting individuals with disabilities. Over those three decades, she has made a lasting impact on countless athletes, families, and individuals, and we are incredibly proud to see her recognized for everything she has given to the Special Olympics community.

Pam, this recognition is so well deserved, and we couldn’t be prouder to have you as our Director of Operations and a part of the People First family! ❤️

Yesterday, we celebrated National Play-Doh Day by getting creative and making our very own homemade play dough! We mixed up a simple recipe. It was a fun, hands-on activity filled with creativity, laughter, and lots of colorful creations!
