Pre teen & teen acne is TOUGH! But treatable!! It’s a process, one that doesn’t happen overnight, but with consistency, regular facials, and a solid home care routine that WORKS!

There’s so much happening under the skin during this stage of their life, and it requires patience, and time. You don’t need harsh chemicals, some crazy treatments, and $174738 in products they will never remember to touch because it’s 374 steps.

I didn’t capture ANY befores, and didn’t capture any content for a handful of my clients yesterday but I got a couple and they are all 😍😍

Getting to know your skin, formulating custom treatments and yapping (or not if you want to go to sleep 😴) with my clients is my favorite! 🤍🤍

I forgot to snag a before picture but TRUST when I say, the redness went down significantly & the hydration was turned on to full plumpness. 🤩😍

Don’t let sensitive skin, reactive skin or rosacea stop you from getting a facial! Barrier support is number one in my treatment room. Consistent facials, and a better understanding of your skin, and a good home care regime can make a huge difference in your skins overall health and appearance.

Let’s bust some myths about dermaplaning!

No it doesn’t grow your hair back thicker, and actually it’s not even considered a hair removal service (removing some of the vellus hair aka peach fuzz is just a bonus)

No it doesn’t hurt! Sometimes people will feel temporary mild sensitivity after, or get a little more red but within a few minutes and the right post dermaplane treatment it goes away!

& yes you SHOULD add it on to your next service (or book an express dermaplane facial)! If you have inflammation, open acne wounds, or I find that your skin has an unhealthy skin barrier I will not perform this service. Skin health comes first in my treatment room always. 🧖🏼‍♀️🤍

16 years in this industry, from behind the chair slinging chunky highlights (am I dating myself or what 🤭) to learning all the things along the way as a forever student, and taking my license and MANY MANY skin care certifications, to behind the treatment bed. I have so much love and respect for this industry, and thankful I get to be apart of it. It may be national esthetician day, but as a licensed cosmetologist who’s focus is skincare, I’m definitely thankful and reflecting on this day all my amazing moments, and paths this career has taken me. I am also super thankful for everyone who chooses me in the treatment room 🧖🏼‍♀️🤍
