There is just something different about knowing where your food comes from. 🤎

Especially with everything going on in the world right now, I think more and more people are realizing how important that actually is.

Knowing who raised the animal. Knowing how it was cared for. Being able to ask questions. Buying meat from a local family instead of grabbing a package off a shelf and having absolutely no idea where it came from or how it got there.

We may not be able to control everything that goes into our food system… but we CAN choose to support the people right here in our community who are raising food for our families. 😭🤎

And THAT is exactly why having locally raised beef + poultry at Willow & Wick means so much to me!

One of the most important things we put inside Willow & Wick wasn’t a product.

It was a table. 🤎

And I know to some people it probably just looks like a random table sitting in the middle of the store… but to us, it means so much more than that.
We wanted a place where anyone could sit down with us.

If you have questions about mold.
If you’re navigating autism with your child.
If you’re overwhelmed trying to figure out food and ingredients.
Or if life is just heavy and you need somebody to talk to.

There is a seat for you here.

Because truthfully… this stuff can feel so dang lonely.

Every parent raising a child with a disability knows that feeling of laying in bed at night wondering if you’re doing enough. Wondering what you’re missing. Wondering what you’re supposed to do next.

And anyone who has ever found mold in their home knows that sick feeling of, “Okay… now what do I do?” We’ve been there.

And sometimes you don’t need somebody to sell you something.
You don’t even need somebody to have all the answers.

Sometimes you just need someone to look at you and say, “Come sit down. I’ll tell you what I know.”

That’s why the table is here.

I never want Willow & Wick to just be a store.

I want it to be a place where you walk in, feel Jesus and feel like you’re not alone anymore. 🤎

STARTING IN SEPTEMBER, we’ll have new store hours! 🤎

We’re switching things up a little so the people who have been asking to shop on Sundays finally can! 🥹

And truthfully, this change will help us tremendously too. We’re still working hard on our tiny house so we can FINALLY get our family fully out of the camper, so having a little more time during the week means more than y’all know. 🤎

Thank y’all for always supporting us, growing with us, and being so understanding through every season. We appreciate y’all SO much!
