Winifred Art Winifred Art: Where Beautiful esthetic meets Re-purposed materials. Most importantly, I find that creating gives me a voice that would otherwise be intangible.

About Winifred: creating is my preferred form of meditation on the best of days, and an obsessive, meandering longing on other days. I moved to Nashville in 2007 after being romanced by the fantastic artistic opportunities here. Most influential and pivotal was my involvement with Nashville's Untitled Artist Group. I showed with Untitled for almost a decade and also served on the Untitled Board an

d served as the Show Coordinator for two years. My experiences with Untitled enrich me daily and guide me in my creative work. Thanks to Turnip Green Creative Reuse Center, I am continuously inspired and excited to see self described artists And non-artists become inspired by what Turnip Green has to offer. Also, my home studio is stocked with re-purposed materials that I utilize in art creation. This means that perfectly reusable materials have been diverted from the landfill into my home studio where my imaginings are realized.
