Hello all from The West Valley Nurses Club. We had an exciting May meeting; Celebrating Nurses Week, The Nurse Honor Guard and our Nursing Scholarship recipient Eleana Regory.
We had a wonderful guest speaker
Dr Marie Gagnon who spoke on mental health, addiction, sobriety and treatment/support assistance. We had two terrific raffles which were items donated by club members. The beautiful Nurse quilt was won by Irma Stewart and the soap basket by Maribeth Lord. And we collected for our Non Profit Phoenix Allies for Community Health. Always such a joy to meet up with Friends and Colleagues. This is our last meeting until October but I will keep up with messages during the summer. Wishing you all a Safe and Happy Summer.

Happy Nurses Week to Friends and Colleagues I have had the honor of knowing and working with. And to all the Wonderful Nurses I have met through our West Valley Nurses Club. We have all offered Care; Love and Support (and many hugs and tears) to our patients and their families. What an Honor ♥️

Happy May from West Valley Nurses Club. Looking forward to our May 15th meeting . Reminder that we will be collecting for our Non Profit; PACH which is Phoenix Allies for Community Health. This organization provides medical assistance to people without health insurance. We will also be honoring a Scholarship to a Nursing Student. 💜💜

Happy Sunday and Happy Spring from the West Valley Nurses Club. We had a wonderful April Meeting; always a joy to gather with Friends and Colleagues. We always have many stories to share. We had great speakers from Donor Network of Arizona. It was so informative and inspiring. They cover more than 130 hospitals in Arizona; collaborating with ERs and ICUS. I am sharing a few of their slides. Our May meeting; which is the last until October will be “Addressing the Mental Health Crisis “. Come join us for social time; lunch and our guest speaker to try us out. Go to our Website and hit join for information on who to contact to make your reservation. We would love to see you.

Happy Spring to everyone from the West Valley Nurses Club. As always we had wonderful March meeting filled with Friendship and Laughter. Always so good to meet with Nurse Friends. Today we welcomed our Speakers/Panel from Ovarian Research Alliance. Our speakers were Rachel, Jan and Irene who shared their clinical and emotional journeys through this disease as well as providing educational information. Their educational piece was Survivors Teaching Students. It was heartwarming; one of the panel members was a RN. We have two more meetings before summer break; please join us.
We will be raffling a beautiful quilt made by one of our Nurses and we’ll be collecting for our Non Profit Phoenix Alliance for Community Health.
Our next meeting is April 17th. I’ll be sending more information in about a week with further information.
